For those of you that don't know what Leigh Festival is, for a couple of years Canaan Thomas (Bar Chairman) and Jonny Whittle (Communications Director) wanted to create an inclusive festival for the people of Leigh and the surrounding area.

Last year we hosted our first festival which included a huge bar with 36 different beers, lagers, ciders as well as a cocktail bar! Throughout the festival we had live music from local artists, mixed ability rugby, a sevens rugby tournament and much more.

We are able have Leigh festival because of all the help from our amazing volunteers and sponsors. We aim to make Leigh festival bigger and better each year, without highly increasing the cost to the public.

We do not make any money from this, we give all money raised to Leigh RUFC to help them continue running and providing the chance for people from aged 5 - 40+ to participate in Rugby Union.
