The Bulldogs made the short journey to local rivals Aspull.
Following their last outing when they finished with thirteen fit players, the Bulldogs welcomed back a healthy number including a very welcome return to the team for Jimmy Q.
The Bulldogs made a blistering start with Leo almost scoring in the near corner and then Ellis almost touching down in the far corner.
The Bulldogs finally got the first try on nine minutes following an outstanding break from Ethan C who laid the platform for the forwards which saw Rhys go over from close range. The difficult conversion was missed (0-5).
Oscar looked to have doubled the lead moments later but the referee adjudged a forward pass.
The Bulldogs did score next. An excellent break and offload from Sammy gave the Bulldogs prime field position with a neat cross field kick finding Tristan to touch down. Harrison G added the extras (0-12).
The home team hit back after twenty minutes with poor discipline and missed tackles contributing to the Aspull try. The conversion was unsuccessful (5-12).
With ten minutes of the half left, the Bulldogs got a penalty for offside which Harrison G converted (5-15).
With less than a minute of the half left, the Bulldogs pressure told with Harrison G sneaking over in the corner. The conversion was unsuccessful (5-20).

The Bulldogs extended their lead after two minutes of the half. A strong break from Jimmy Q followed by excellent hands from Sammy who fed Ellis to score. The conversion sailed wide (5-25).
Will John was next on the score sheet will a bulldozing charge to the line. Harrison G tagged on the extras (5-32).
With twenty minutes left, Aspull scored an impressive try with a cross field kick finding the winger in the corner. The conversion was unsuccessful (10-32).
From the kick off, Jimmy Q gathered the ball and charged through carrying many players on his back for a brilliant individual try. Harrison G added the extras (10-39).
With less than ten minutes left, Oliver D curiously playing makeshift winger, scored a fine try in the corner. The conversion was unsuccessful (10-44).
Moments later Tristan broke the line from a scrum and handed the ball to Tyler to score under the posts. Ethan C added the extras to bring up fifty (10-51).
With the Bulldogs in full flow, Ethan C was next on the score sheet, scoring from close range. The conversion was missed which was the final play of the game.
After a tough start to the season, the Bulldogs found their mojo for a superb victory.
